"The school is working hard on developing an inclusive carnival where students of all abilities can be part of the fun and share in the school spirit," YNPS principal Kel Smerdon said.
Mr Smerdon was very pleased with how all students that attended took part and represented YNPS.
"All students are to be commended on their efforts and behaviour during the day," Mr Smerdon said.
The winning house team for the 2017 swimming carnival was Lynch (Red).
Winners:
Sub-juniors – Patrick Butcher and Lana Blizzard,
Juniors – Oscar Taylor and Beth Bigwood,
Intermediates – Darcy Dwyer and Libby Wilder,
Senior – Cameron Martin and Jesse Cummings.
The teachers won the annual relay race against parents and YHS helpers.
"A big thanks to YHS students who supported with the event," Mr Smerdon said.
