The NSW Department of Education & Communities is committed to ensuring equitable access and opportunity for all students. The recent Gonski report and subsequent Federal & State Government undertakings has resulted in equity based funding of NSW Public Schools. This model has resulted in a significant funding increase for our school. It has allowed us to make the local, evidence based decisions that yield results for our school community.

At Young North PS we utilise RAM funding to:

-Employ additional teachers to reduce class sizes, making our Stage 2 & 3 Enrichment classes possible

-Employ extra support staff to ensure all students are being supported.

-Enhance school executive staff capacity to facilitate effective program delivery, teacher mentoring and school administration.

-Subsidies school programs to support student access to the highest quality creative arts, student welfare and curriculum opportunities.

-Ensure a quality learning environment and aesthetically beautiful place for our community to learn and work within.
