Young North's Student Representative Council held its annual fete on Thursday the 29th of October. The theme of the fete was 'superheroes' and raised over $1500 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The kids came dressed in many different superhero costumes, superman and batman were popular but students remembered there are many other heroes in our community. Students and staff dressed up as doctors, nurses, firemen, policemen and even research scientists.... We only hope the money raised by our fete can help the Muscular Dystrophy Association one day find a cure for the disease. Thanks to the Young North community and in particular Learning Support teacher Angela Martin for making the fete one to remember!!!
